Internal control and tracking of parts and processes are managed through Plasan's ERP system. In order to provide a comprehensive solution for other aspects of supply chain management for which a standard ERP may not be optimum, additional capabilities (developed specifically per Plasan specifications) have been added to the Information system network:

Traceability and Shipments System (TSS) – This is a web based application which receives inputs from subcontractors and provides key indicators and data for real time tracking of processes throughout the supply chain.

Supply Chain (SC) Master – This system provides on-line (updated every few minutes) status and tracking capabilities of all materials in transit (raw materials, WIP, finished products). The system is interfaced to ERP's of Plasan, vendors and subcontractors, as well as to the tracking systems of all shippers and freight forwarders. Through a web-based reporting tool, all involved parties can know the exact location of all materials in transit, with immediate notification of deliveries as they occur.
