Plasan armors Sand Cats for Israel Police
The contract is worth NIS 25 million.

Plasan ,owned by Kibbutz Sasa,has won a NIS 25 million tender
for the supply of dozens of Sand Cat armored jeeps to the Israel
Police.
The Sand Cat is based on a commercial Ford F-Series 4x4
chassis adapted for military use by Manning Equipment Co.Inc.
and fitted with Plasan Sasa designed and manufactured modular
armor kits made from steel,ceramics,and composites.
Plasan is a subcontractor for Ford Motor Co.(NYSE:F)importer
Delek Automotive Systems Ltd.(TASE:DLEA)for the purpose of
the contract.
Plasan CEO Dan Ziv thanked the police for choosing the Sand
Cat and the vote of confidence in the company's armor kits.
Plasan's customers include the IDF and other armies around the
world.
